Patpong Road Bangkok Thailand

Patpong Road was made famous by U.S. soldiers on rest and recreation (R & R) in the city of Bangkok, Thailand. During the conflict in Vietnam, most soldiers take the short trip from Saigon to Bangkok to enjoy a week or two to get drunk, stoned, massage pamper, and the beautiful women of Thailand.
Paatpong is actually a small road between Silom Road and Surawong with a wall of bars and restaurants. At night the streets are a supplier to meet the ridiculously high prices to tourists are free in the hope of suckers.
In fact, there are four blocks from the nightlife in the restoration. It Patpong I and II, Soi Jaruwan, catering exclusively to gay and Soi Thaniya Japanese tourists.
Patpong began purchased as a vacant parcel of Chinese immigrants in 1946. The Patpongpanich (or Patpongpanit built) a business, hire a normal family life activities. Bar has finally released the other companies that exceeded both the private roads, and recreation area created.

I was in Bangkok in the early 1970s and we went to Patpong almost every night. Then it was after bar after bar bar. There were the street vendors, blocks, and different from today's safe to go to the bar above.
Thus, the bar downstairs bar was also -. On the second floor were go-go bars with girls in bikinis. And if a bar a third floor, which had for special events.
